The one that stays on.

Made to be worn, not fussed over.

Most bracelets get worn twice and then move into a drawer. An open cuff doesn't have that problem, because there's nothing to get wrong. It's a band of pure copper, hammered into shape and finished by hand. Feather engraving runs around the outside. Inside, a stamp reads PURE COPPER.

99.99% Pure Copper,

Plenty of jewelry sold as copper is brass with a thin copper coat on it. It looks right for about a month. Then the coat goes, usually at the edge where you wear it most, and whatever's underneath is a different color.

This cuff is 99.9% copper through the full thickness of the band. No coat, no brass core. Scratch it and it's still copper.

It fits at 7 a.m. and at 10 p.m.

Your wrist is smaller at 7 a.m. than it is at 10 p.m. Heat does that, and so does a long day on your feet.

A closed bracelet has to pick a number and live with it. This one doesn't pick. Squeeze the opening in or ease it out, and it holds where you put it. Takes about a second. There's no size chart involved.

Hammered first, engraved after.

Each cuff is hammered to shape before anything is cut into it. The feather pattern comes after, line by line, which is why the lines wander a little and why no two cuffs carry the same one.

The stamp inside the band says PURE COPPER. That's the whole claim.

It darkens. That's the copper.

Copper reacts with skin and air. Over the first few weeks it goes from bright to a deeper, warmer brown, and it keeps going from there if you let it. Some people wipe it back to a shine every few days. Some leave it alone for a year and end up with something that looks like it's been somewhere. There's a thin clear coat on the surface that slows the change down. It doesn't stop it.

No clasp. Nothing to fiddle with.

There's no clasp. That sounds like a small thing until you've spent a morning trying to hook one behind your wrist with one hand, before your fingers are properly awake.

An open cuff slides on and stays. No clasp to hook one-handed, no spring that only works when your glasses are on.

For the person who's hard to buy for.

Some people are impossible to shop for. They already have the things they need, and they buy what they want themselves.

This arrives in a box with a blank card, so the writing is yours. Birthday, anniversary, or a Tuesday with nothing special about it. Buying it for yourself counts too.

Frequently asked questions

I’ve bought copper jewelry before and it was a letdown. Why would yours be any different?

Most likely, what you bought wasn’t really copper. A lot of “copper” online is a thin plating over brass or zinc — it looks right for a few weeks, then the coating wears through.

Ours is solid copper the whole way through. Cut one in half and it’s copper all the way to the middle.

That’s the whole difference. A plated piece flakes. Solid copper ages into a patina that keeps deepening the longer you wear it.

Does copper actually do anything?

I get asked this more than anything, and there’s no neat answer — only a very long history.

Copper is a mineral your body actually needs. And people have pressed it against their skin for thousands of years: Egyptian tombs, Roman soldiers, the bangle a grandmother slipped onto her daughter’s wrist without ever explaining why.

I’ve never promised anyone a result — that isn’t mine to promise. What I notice is simpler: they keep it on because of how it feels, and because taking it off stops feeling right. Wear one for a month and you’ll have a better answer than I can give you.

Is there any real evidence behind copper jewelry?

Formal studies have come back mixed. I won’t pretend otherwise.

What’s harder to dismiss is how often copper against skin turns up — Egyptian tombs, Roman legions, Ayurvedic medicine, Navajo silversmiths. Civilizations that never met each other arrived at the same habit anyway.

They weren’t running trials. They were repeating what their mothers did. The people who end up wearing it usually tried everything else first, and then a friend handed them a bracelet. Three thousand years of people quietly refusing to stop is a strange thing to wave away.

How do I take care of it?

You can check my full copper care guide by clicking here.

Can I wear it in the shower, or swimming?

Yes. Solid copper doesn’t mind water — people have worn it fishing, farming and swimming for centuries.

Two things worth knowing. Salt water and chlorine both speed up the patina, so a summer of daily swims darkens it faster than normal wear. That’s the metal reacting to its environment, not damage.

If you like the bright look, rinse with fresh water after the sea or a pool and dry it properly. Otherwise, wear it and forget about it.

Will it turn my skin green?

It can — and it isn’t an allergy.

The mark is copper carbonate, the same compound that turned the Statue of Liberty green. Sweat, hand cream and hot weather make it more likely. Soap and water takes it off.

Most people see it once or twice, then never again once the surface settles. If it keeps bothering you, a thin coat of clear nail polish on the inside of a cuff does the job.

Why isn’t this cheaper? I’ve seen copper bracelets for five dollars.

You have — and those are plated. That’s most of the gap right there.

Solid copper costs several times a plated blank before anyone touches it, and every piece is shaped, finished and checked by hand rather than stamped out by the thousand.

We’re not the cheapest copper you’ll find. We’re about the cheapest that’s actually copper.

How long does shipping take?

US & UK: 5–10 business days

Canada, Australia, New Zealand & rest of world: 6–12 business days

Free shipping on orders over $59.99. Below that, the flat rate shows at checkout before you pay. Tracking is emailed the moment your order leaves us.

What if it doesn’t fit, or I just don’t like it?

Send it back within 30 days and we’ll refund you in full. Doesn’t fit, not what you pictured, changed your mind — all fine, and you don’t have to explain.

Same promise that’s on every product page. It works because almost nobody uses it.

Anything I should know before wearing the magnetic styles?

Yes, and it’s worth reading. Don’t wear magnetic jewelry if you have a pacemaker, an implanted defibrillator or an insulin pump, take it off before an MRI, and if you’re pregnant, check with your doctor first.

Everything else about those pieces is the same: solid copper, same finishing, same guarantee.
